Isuzu UK is honoured to announce Andy Lambert as the recipient of Farm Worker of the Year at the British Farming Awards (BFA) 2024 on the 17th of October.
Andy Lambert has been Robert and Wendy Phillip at Hellifield Highland Fold for several years. The award recognises Lambert’s selfless dedication to maintaining and developing not only his own business, but additionally his neighbour’s business too. He has gained a reputation someone who, “Lives and breathes farming life, a true farming hero,” subsequently impressing the judges and culminating in his award win.

The Pick-Up Professionals have championed the Farm Worker of the Year Award for several years since 2018, reflecting the key values of commitment, dedication, and expertise that are judged in the category.

During the awards evening, Isuzu also donated £2,050 to the ‘My Name’5 Doddie Foundation’ charity auction, raising funds for researching effective treatments against motor neuron disease (MND).
Director of Fundraising and Communications at My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, Paul Thompson, said: “We would like to thank Isuzu UK for donating £2,050 to help combat motor neuron disease. The charity auction saw Isuzu generously bid for two tickets for any concert at bp pulse LIVE or the National Exhibition Centre.”
