- Monthly sales for OMODA and JAECOO totalled 3,868 vehicles in March – more than January and February combined
- New energy sales lead the way with JAECOO 7 SHS and OMODA E5 being top sellers in March
- Increased retailer demand expected to continue throughout April
- Excitement builds for the remainder of 2025, with imminent arrival of the flagship OMODA 9 SHS SUV in June
London, 7 April 2025 – The momentum from OMODA&JAECOO UK’s successes at the beginning of 2025 continued into March after the company recorded sales of 3,868 vehicles for the month. Having sold 2,561 cars in January and February across the two growing brands, the total for Q1 2025 stands at 6,427.
Following a record start to 2025, OMODA&JAECOO once again out-sold many legacy manufacturers in March, as well as OEMs that are purely focused on electric vehicles. Sales numbers were boosted by increased awareness created from the hugely successful launch of the JAECOO 7, a luxurious and capable SUV that features innovative technologies such the Super Hybrid System (SHS), making it an attractive proposition for private and business drivers alike. Meanwhile, the OMODA 5 and E5 also achieved impressive sales figures of 4,953 and 1,902 since launch. This is thanks to now being firmly established in the marketplace, as well as the E5’s current attractive £0 deposit and 0% finance offers.
Moving into April, the expectation at OMODA&JAECOO UK is that the impressive performance in Q1 will continue into Q2. Despite the VED changes that took effect at the beginning of April, demand at retailers is set to be buoyed by activity around not only the existing product ranges, but also new arrivals, such as the OMODA 9 flagship SUV, which launched on 2 April.
Commenting on the start to the year, Victor Zhang, UK Director, OMODA&JAECOO said: “With OMODA and JAECOO now successfully immersed in the UK market, both brands have demonstrated their mass appeal among a wide cross-section of drivers. With more models arriving over the coming months – including our flagship OMODA 9 luxury SUV, and also the OMODA 7 and JAECOO 5 – customers in the retail and fleet sectors will have even more choice as we focus firmly on achieving our sales target of 30,000 vehicles sold in 2025 inclusive.”
Sales of OMODA and JAECOO models have been supported by the company’s growing dealer network, which now totals 73 locations, and is represented by major retailers such as Arnold Clark, Listers and RRG Group. Meanwhile, the standard seven-year/100,000-mile manufacturer’s warranty on all vehicles currently available from the two brands – OMODA 5, OMODA E5 and JAECOO 7 (with OMODA 9 deliveries starting from June) – represents added peace of mind for customers looking for quality and value in their vehicles.
