The CarFest crowds were wowed today as BRIT and Emmy nominated, critically acclaimed singer, songwriter and musician, Sam Ryder, arrived ready to rock thanks to The Dacia Sandrider.
The eye-catching entrance saw Sam, known for his soaring vocals, delivered to the festival site and stage in Dacia’s rally-raid machine, designed to tackle the world’s toughest terrains.
“Stoked to take one of these to CarFest!” said Sam Ryder. “The festival’s all about new and innovative vehicles, so this definitely hits the mark. Nothing like getting the adrenaline racing right before a show!”
Built for endurance from the ground up, The Dacia Sandrider is powered by a V6 twin-turbo engine running on sustainable-fuel. It is a four-wheeled embodiment of Dacia’s ethos of robustness and outdoor adventure.
Since its unveiling in 2024, the Sandrider has gone on to triumph at the Rallye du Maroc and the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge, securing two victories in the FIA World Rally-Raid Championship. This year, the Sandrider made its debut on the Dakar Rally, international motorsport’s toughest challenge, where it recorded five top three stage times with Sébastien Loeb, Cristina Gutierrez Herrero, and Nasser Al-Attiyah at the wheel.
