One year on from its UK debut, OMODA has established itself as a bold new contender in the premium SUV market. Marking a full 12 months since the official launch of OMODA in the UK – a confident, design-led brand that entered a highly competitive landscape and gained rapid momentum. With its striking styling, luxury-focused cabin, and high levels of connectivity and safety features, OMODA has resonated with British drivers looking for standout SUVs with top-of-the-range technology – all delivered with exceptional value, warranty coverage and aftermarket support.
In the past year, OMODA has transitioned from a complete newcomer to one of the UK’s fastest-growing automotive brands. Since sales began in Q3 2024, OMODA UK has launched three models, established an 81-strong dealer network, and gained significant traction across the UK market with more than 25,000 sales to date – all indicators of a brand accelerating at pace – and with purpose.
The UK journey began with the OMODA 5 and fully electric OMODA E5 – two compact SUVs that challenged convention through bold design, smart technology and accessible pricing. They were introduced with a customer-first approach that’s helped define the brand’s DNA. Despite their early success, the OMODA 5 and E5 have already undergone significant updates in a MY25 refresh, with upgraded tech, improved materials and refined dynamics – a deliberate move that reflects the brand’s belief in fast, continuous improvement based on real-world feedback.
That same philosophy underpinned the unveiling of the flagship OMODA 9 SHS – a plug-in hybrid SUV created for long-distance efficiency and modern hybrid performance. In July 2025, the OMODA 9 SHS completed a 730-mile, nine-country European grand tour on a single battery charge and one tank of fuel – exceeding its WLTP-estimated range and demonstrating the brand’s real-world credibility. It also secured a five-star safety rating under Euro NCAP’s latest 2025 protocols, making it the final model in the current UK line-up to receive the organisation’s highest rating – a clear reflection of OMODA UK’s commitment to both intelligent engineering and passenger protection across the range.
Beyond the product itself, OMODA’s growth has been powered by a fast-moving UK team and a strong retail presence. In April, the brand opened a flagship showroom in central London – offering an immersive, design-led retail environment that brings the OMODA experience to life in the heart of the UK. Now supported by 81 dealers nationwide, the brand’s focus is on aftersales, service and ownership experience, which continues to play a vital role in its growing base of loyal customers.
