The annual Mazda Fan Festa event will take place this year at the world-famous Fuji Speedway on the 4th and 5th October. This spectacular event brings together thousands of Mazda enthusiasts across a weekend packed with racing, demonstrations, car displays and immersive activities.
Highlights include track demonstrations of iconic Mazda racecars including the 1991 Le Mans 24 Hours winning Mazda 787B, while for the first time the traditional Mazda Media MX-5 Endurance Race will be held at Mazda Fan Festa. This much-loved event has a 35-year legacy and sees teams of journalists and media personalities race in identical production spec MX-5 racecars, so joining Fan Festa will showcase this exciting race in front of a bigger audience than ever.
Away from the track action, car displays and parades, interactive experiences allows everyone from devoted Mazda fans to families to get closer to the brand and its products. This year’s event embraces the theme “a place to enjoy cars even more together with fans,” reflecting Mazda’s ongoing commitment to community and innovation. Attendees can look forward to fan meet-ups, direct conversations with Mazda developers, motorsport showcases and family-friendly activities, including dedicated content for children.
New to this year’s event are multi-sensory experiences that bring Mazda’s development and manufacturing processes to life. Visitors of all ages will have the chance to take part in programming workshops, vehicle planning simulations, and commercialisation activities, fostering a deeper connection with the brand. Other off-circuit highlights include a technology showcase, premium food outlets and merchandise stores.
Further track highlights include Round 5 of the Mazda Fan Endurance Race Series ‘Shizuoka’, a parade allowing owners the chance to lap Fuji in their own Mazdas and even a ‘circuit safari’ that provides bus rides around the track, while historic Mazda race cars fly by given a visual and aural treat. Mazda Spirit Racing will demonstrate its Super Taikyu Series entries, while a virtual racing zone will allow attendees to race in the digital world.
An all- encompassing dive into the world of Mazda in the shadow of Mount Fuji, Mazda Fan Festa 2025 is a not to-be-missed weekend for Mazda fans from Japan and further afield.
