“We wanted to create something our family would remember forever: a Rolls-Royce that captures the essence of the cosmos and shows that no dream is out of reach.”
Commissioning Client, Cullinan Cosmos

“Space travel is an enduring fascination for the commissioning clients of this extraordinary one-of-one motor car. For the Bespoke Collective, this project also explored new frontiers, with our first-ever hand-painted Starlight Headliner. Bold in its conception and spectacular in its realisation, this commission demonstrates how Rolls-Royce brings clients’ otherworldly visions to life with drama, depth, and absolute precision.”
Phil Fabre de la Grange, Head of Bespoke, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars

Rolls-Royce presents Cullinan Cosmos: a one-of-one commission that celebrates the drama of outer space. Commissioned by a family who shares a fascination for the universe with their four-year-old son, this theme was brought to life through a constellation of Bespoke details. At its centre is a Rolls-Royce first – a hand-painted Starlight Headliner painstakingly developed by one of the marque’s in-house artists over 160 hours.

EXTERIOR PALETTE: OUTER LIMITS
Cullinan Cosmos is finished in shimmering Arabescato Pearl, recalling the soft lustre of moonlight across a midnight sky. The exterior is completed with a hand-painted twin coachline in Charles Blue and an Illuminated Spirit of Ecstasy that glows like a distant star by night.

INTERIOR SUITE: EXPLORING INNER SPACE
The interior of Cullinan Cosmos offers a calm, meditative environment, inspired by the stillness and wonder of deep space. The reclining seats are finished in Charles Blue and Grace White leather with matching Grace White contrast stitching and piping. Piano White veneers add a crisp, technical edge that subtly echoes the high-gloss surfaces of satellite casings.

The commissioning clients worked with Rolls-Royce designers to create a unique Star Cluster motif, which appears as Bespoke embroidery on the door panels and headrests, and as a hand-painted artwork on the front passenger fascia.

HAND-PAINTED STARLIGHT HEADLINER: NEW HORIZONS
Cullinan Cosmos features the first fully hand-painted Starlight Headliner ever created for a Rolls-Royce motor car. Developed over 160 hours and painted entirely freehand by one of the marque’s in-house artists, it depicts an ethereal interpretation of the Milky Way – the hazy band of stars and cosmic mist visible in the night sky – colour-graded to complement the Bespoke interior palette.

To create the luminous cloud formations, the artist used more than 20 successive applications of acrylic paint, building depth and dimension with a variety of brushes. To achieve the mist effect, the artist turned to an unexpected tool – a makeup brush – to allow the lightest layer of pigments to dry delicately on contact.

The shimmering field of painted ‘stars’ was formed using a combination of fine, pointed brushes and a speckling technique, giving the final composition an organic, celestial quality. Only once the painting on the Starlight Headliner was completed and sealed were the fibre-optic perforations individually punched and positioned by hand to complement the contours of the artwork.

Cullinan Cosmos was commissioned through Private Office Dubai, one of a number of Rolls-Royce’s international Private Offices created to bring the full capabilities of the Bespoke Collective closer to the brand’s most visionary clients.

Cullinan Cosmos was delivered to the commissioning family in time for a special occasion – ready to transform every journey into a voyage through the stars.

SG Fleet, one of the UK’s leading fleet management and vehicle leasing companies, has chosen Ohme as its official home EV charging partner.

To celebrate the collaboration, SG Fleet has introduced an innovative new offer for its customers, where the cost of the Ohme charger is bundled into the monthly rental fee. This means that a driver switching to an EV for the first time won’t have to pay for a charger immediately, but instead can spread the cost over their rental term.

“As the move to electric vehicles continues at pace, ensuring our customers have access to all the support they need for a smooth transition is key,” explains Peter Davenport, Managing Director at SG Fleet. “Offering innovative solutions such as our bundled offer with Ohme is a crucial part of that transition. Ohme’s dynamic smart chargers enable solar or smart tariffs allowing SG Fleet customers to substantially reduce their charging costs. Our role is to keep businesses and their people moving and that means helping them make the switch to electric as seamlessly as possible. By including Ohme chargers in our salary sacrifice package, we’re helping to overcome one of the biggest barriers to EV adoption.”

This new partnership will see SG Fleet recommend Ohme chargers on all electrified vehicles for its salary sacrifice customers. SG Fleet has seen a considerable rise in EVs on its UK-managed fleets in recent years. Since 2021, the percentage of EVs on its salary sacrifice fleet has gone up by more than 400% reflecting the dramatic rise in interest among consumers.

“This collaboration with SG Fleet further underlines Ohme’s commitment to the fleet sector, as more businesses and company drivers switch to EVs,” said Peter McDonald, Ohme Director. “Furthermore, SG Fleet’s bundled package for EV drivers shows the innovative thinking that it is willing to bring to the sector. We look forward to working with them and helping more business drivers with the e-mobility transition.”

With the average UK driver covering 6,800 miles a year, smart charging on an off-peak tariff in a typical EV would cost just £119 for a year’s worth of driving with Intelligent Octopus Go at 7.5p/kWh. At the Standard Variable Tariff of 25.73p/kWh, that same annual mileage would cost £437.41. By comparison, the same mileage in an equivalent petrol car would cost a driver more than £1000.

Ohme is the official charger provider for Mercedes-Benz, Suzuki, Volvo Cars and the Volkswagen Group in the UK and Ireland as well as Hyundai and Smart in the UK, it is also the official exclusive charger provider for customers on the Motability scheme. Ohme has also just won two awards from Business Motoring for Best Electric Charging Point Provider and Best Electric Van Charging Point Provider.

The Dacia Sandriders is back as a trio with Gutiérrez returning alongside Al-Attiyah and Loeb

Challenging, fast-paced stages await in Portugal and Spain as Al-Attiyah aims to hold his advantage in the Drivers’ standings

The Dacia Sandriders is Iberia-bound next week as the FIA World Rally-Raid Championship enters its decisive phase, with an exciting cross-border event.

Taking place between 21 – 28 September and forming part of the FIA World Rally-Raid Championship (W2RC) for the second time, Rally-Raid Portugal includes stages in the host country as well as in neighbouring Spain. It covers a total competitive distance of 1,433.05 kilometres.

The Dacia Sandriders takes on round four of the five-event W2RC season as a three-strong line-up once again, having entered two of its sustainably fuelled and BFGoodrich-equipped Dacia Sandrider cars on the previous events in Abu Dhabi and South Africa.

It follows the return of Spain’s Cristina Gutiérrez to the attack alongside Qatari Nasser Al-Attiyah and Frenchman Sébastien Loeb.

With a win in Abu Dhabi and a podium in South Africa, The Dacia Sandriders heads to Rally-Raid Portugal second in the W2RC Manufacturers’ ranking and first in the Drivers’ and Navigators’ standings courtesy of Nasser Al-Attiyah and Édouard Boulanger.

For the remainder of the 2025 W2RC and January’s 2026 season-opening Dakar, Boulanger will partner with his compatriot Loeb, with Loeb’s navigator, Fabian Lurquin from Belgium joining forces with Al-Attiyah. The Cristina and Pablo partnership remains unchanged.

Tiphanie Isnard, Team Principal of The Dacia Sandriders, explained: “In rally-raid, our strength as a team lies in creating the best possible conditions for our crews to perform at their highest level. The bond between driver and navigator is crucial, and sometimes evolving the pairings allows new synergies to emerge. We believe these new collaborations will bring greater stability, renewed confidence, and the determination needed to push even further together.”

The penultimate round of the 2025 W2RC marks more unchartered territory for the team, with mainly gravel stages akin to a world championship rally. Covering 2,368.97 kilometres, including 1,433.05 against the clock, the route of Rally-Raid Portugal has undergone several changes following the inaugural W2RC edition in 2024.

Based in Grândola. 100 kilometres south of Lisbon, the event begins in earnest with the Prologue on the afternoon of 23 September. The opening stage on Wednesday 24 September takes crews southwest towards Beja on what organisers have described as “fast, winding dirt tracks” before a sandy section in the closing 30 kilometres prior to the overnight halt in Grândola.

Stage 2 on Thursday 25 September marks the start of the journey into Spain and the bivouac in Badajoz. At 649.98 kilometres, it’s the event’s longest stage. The action continues with Stage 3 on Friday 26 September when the entire competitive route will be held in Spain on terrain similar to that encountered during Stage 1.

From Spain, the event heads back to Portugal on Saturday 27 September and the bivouac in Lisbon from where a loop stage will decide the outcome of Rally-Raid Portugal on Sunday 28 September.

KEY QUOTES

Tiphanie Isnard, Team Principal, The Dacia Sandriders, said: “It’s back-to-school time for the team and an opportunity to discover a new rally on a surface still unexplored by the Dacia Sandrider. To tackle it in the most favourable conditions possible, we have undertaken a full week of testing. Our goal on Rally-Raid Portugal is clear: to be ready to maximise points and strengthen our position in the Drivers’, Navigators’ and Manufacturers’ championships. The event will also be about continuing to build Sébastien’s confidence after his podium in South Africa, and welcoming back Cristina and Pablo as we prepare both the end of the season and the fast-approaching Dakar. The team is now entering a very intense phase with eight consecutive weeks of travel between testing, Rally-Raid Portugal and Rallye du Maroc. We are fully focused on finishing the championship in the best possible way and on preparing our Dakar challenge under the best conditions.”

Nasser Al-Attiyah, Driver, The Dacia Sandriders explained: “After a really good collaboration on Baja Aragón, I’m happy to continue the adventure with Fabian as my new navigator. Rally-Raid Portugal is a great event, and we are really looking forward to it. We can expect a lot of fans and a really great atmosphere because the passion for motorsport is real in Portugal and Spain. The target is always very clear: to keep the lead in the championship by scoring good points and to have a great event.”

Cristina Gutiérrez, Driver, The Dacia Sandriders, added: “We are really looking forward to re-starting our rally-raid season and kicking off our preparations for Dakar Rally. I’m happy to be competing on Rally-Raid Portugal, as racing at home is always special and we have great memories from this event. Together with Pablo, we are excited to reunite with the whole Dacia Sandriders team. The goal is to get back into the rhythm and to feel good in the car. As always, we’ll do our very best. We want to make the most of these last two races of the championship to arrive fully prepared for the Dakar Rally, the biggest challenge of all.”

Sébastien Loeb, Driver, The Dacia Sandriders said: “It feels great to be getting back into the Dacia Sandrider after quite a long break since South Africa. I’m really looking forward to starting this new chapter with Édouard. We’ve already done some testing together in Morocco and everything went very well, so I’m confident our collaboration will be a good one. I can’t wait to get back to the racing feeling and to meet the Portuguese and Spanish fans, who are always so passionate and create an incredible atmosphere on every stage.”

The K4 comes with athletic proportions wrapped in an expressive design, all rooted in Kia’s ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy

The model offers a premium connected car experience with 12.3-inch dual panoramic displays

With class-leading legroom and boot space, the K4 delivers comfort without compromise

Its advanced driver assistance suite, including Highway Driving Assist 2.0 and Smart Cruise Control 2, presents a competitive safety and convenience package

Kia blurs the line differentiating the C- and D-segment with the European reveal of the K4, a model boasting a dynamic look based on the company’s ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy. The hatchback is also designed to meet the demands of modern drivers, offering plenty of interior space, premium features, and advanced technologies.

Designed with an aggressive look
The model introduces an expressive new design and generous exterior dimensions: 4,440mm long and 1,850mm wide, while its spacious interior offers passengers in the rear class-leading legroom (964mm) and plenty of headroom (973mm). Behind the rear seats, customers can make use of 438 litres of cargo space, making the model ideal for either transporting moving boxes or weekend trips.

The design turns heads with a distinctive floating roofline which slips elegantly into the rear hatch. Key design cues include the Star Map Signature Lighting inspired by the EV9, rear hidden door handles integrated into the C-pillar, and an exclusive Sparkling Yellow exterior colour. On top of this, the K4´s GT-Line looks even sportier. The trim features a three-spoke steering wheel, paddle shifters, 17-inch or 18-inch alloy wheels, gloss black mirror caps, side sills, and wheel arch mouldings.

“With the K4, we are demonstrating how our models can deliver dynamic design, innovation, and intelligent technology irrespectively from their powertrain,” said Sjoerd Knipping, Chief Operating Officer of Kia Europe. “The K4 reflects our mission to make exciting mobility accessible to all by supporting customers who are not yet ready for fully electric vehicles.”

A powertrain for every journey
The K4 carries forward Kia’s commitment to offering customers a diverse range of propulsion options. This includes electrified powertrains to ease the transition to electric mobility. Of the five available powertrains in Europe, two are electrified, aligning with Kia’s broader electrification strategy.

The powertrain offering starts with a 1.0-litre T-GDi petrol engine (115PS) with a six-speed manual transmission. This engine is also available with mild-hybrid technology. Customers who opt for the mild-hybrid engine can pair it with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission instead. The 1.6-litre T-GDi petrol engine comes with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (150/180PS). Later in 2026, the powertrain line-up will be expanded to include a full hybrid option.

“With the K4, we are refreshing our lineup with a model that delivers in every dimension: design, space, technology, and electrified powertrains,” said Pablo Martínez Masip, Vice President of Product & Marketing. “We designed the K4 for customers who want to drive farther, do more, and express themselves along their journey.”

Technology that elevates the everyday
The K4 boasts one of the most advanced technological offerings in its class. A panoramic display integrates a 12.3-inch instrument cluster, a 5.3-inch climate display, and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment screen. The Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC) system unites navigation, multimedia, and vehicle settings control into a single, intuitive interface. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard across all trims with a wireless phone charger available in higher trims.

A Harman Kardon® premium audio system transforms the cabin into a personal concert hall. Comfort is further enhanced with heated and ventilated front seats wrapped in stylish, black bio-based artificial leather upholstery.

The Digital Key 2.0 with ultra-wideband technology allows compatible smartphones to function as virtual keys. At the same time, Kia Connect services offer a range of digital tools, such as over-the-air (OTA) updates, music streaming, and Wi-Fi hotspot capability. With its AI-powered voice assistant, drivers can simply say “Hey Kia” to control various features or get information, including help with the owner’s manual or local recommendations.

ADAS made standard
Offering a suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), Kia prioritises customer safety with the K4.

When the turn signal is activated, the Blind-Spot View Monitor (BVM) provides drivers with a real-time video feed of their blind spots on the instrument cluster. Blind-spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA) uses radar sensors in the rear bumper to monitor blind spots and help prevent collisions during lane changes.

In addition to intelligently adapting the vehicle’s speed, Smart Cruise Control 2 (SCC2) can, in the event of an emergency, bring the car to a stop if the driver is unresponsive. Furthermore, Highway Driving Assist 2.0 (HDA 2.0) helps the driver maintain a safe distance from the car ahead, stay centred in the lane, change lanes, and adjust lateral positioning.

Moreover, when reversing, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCCA) detects vehicles approaching from behind at the left and right sides. RCCA provides audible and visual warnings and is even able to automatically apply the brakes to help avoid or mitigate a collision. Additionally, the Surround View Monitor (SVM) employs multiple cameras positioned around the car to create a composite, 360-degree view displayed on the infotainment screen.

Finally, using front-facing camera and radar sensors, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist 2 (FCA2) helps prevent or mitigate collisions by detecting potential hazards like other cars, pedestrians, and cyclists.

A bold step in a new direction
With its bold aesthetics, spacious flexibility, high-tech features, and performance-focused variants, the K4 is an evolution of other hatchbacks. As customer needs shift toward personalisation and intelligent mobility, the K4 positions itself as a stylish, smart, and connected choice.

The K4 will be produced at the company’s new plant in Mexico, with models expected to arrive in UK showrooms in the fourth quarter of 2025. Full UK pricing and specifications will be announced closer to its on-sale date.

Note: This press release is a 1:1 copy of the original issued by BMW headquarters in Germany. No adaptions have been made to cater to the UK market.

Debrecen. The BMW Group has entered the final phase before the first Neue Klasse model rolls off the assembly line. Series production of the new BMW iX3 will get underway in late October at the BMW Group plant in Debrecen, Hungary, as the newest, most innovative manufacturing facility in the company’s global production network officially begins work.

“The start of series production for the BMW iX3 signals a new era of automotive manufacturing. Our new plant in Debrecen has been designed and built fully in line with our strategic vision of the iFACTORY. Digital from the very beginning, the plant will offer a new dimension in efficient production without fossil fuels,” says Milan Nedeljković, member of the Board of Management of BMW AG responsible for Production.

The BMW iFACTORY represents a strategic vision of production, built on streamlined, efficient structures, responsible resource management, economical use of cutting-edge digital innovations and a strong focus on employees. The BMW Group has also registered new patents for a large number of innovative systems and processes at Plant Debrecen.

“We have taken on the challenge of building a completely new vehicle as the first job at an entirely new plant – and doing so in the leanest, most efficient way possible. We have simplified processes, reduced complexity, digitally validated each individual operation and systematically leveraged expertise across our global network. The result is this plant, with its efficient production, innovative processes and the flexibility to integrate additional models,” says Hans-Peter Kemser, head of BMW Group Plant Debrecen.

As with any new model, capacity for the new BMW iX3 will be gradually ramped up in stages after the start of production. Spearheading the arrival of the Neue Klasse, the iX3 showcases the latest design and technology innovations that will define the brand’s entire model range in the future. Between now and 2027, the technologies in the Neue Klasse will be integrated into 40 new models and model updates.

From virtual factory to reality
The guiding principles of the BMW iFACTORY have been fully implemented in the technologies employed at the new BMW Group plant in Debrecen. For example, Plant Debrecen was planned and built digitally from the outset, and celebrated its virtual start of production back in March 2023 in the BMW Group’s Virtual Factory. This approach allowed every operation to be tested virtually in advance, enabling production lines to be installed in the buildings exactly as in the digital twin.

Optimal processes for all plant technologies
With an optimised value stream and efficient systems, the press shop guarantees a high level of productivity. The BMW Group continues to follow its proven strategy of using the same tools and presses throughout its global network. This optimises capacity utilisation within the network by allowing press tools to be deployed at multiple locations and enabling staff to be trained in-network.

The body shop, in particular, benefits from prior digital planning and validation. Every process detail was digitally simulated in advance to determine the ideal value stream and ensure that each of the nearly 1,000 robots was optimally positioned. From the outset, close collaboration between development and production teams led to high production efficiency and maximum customer benefit. For example, the number of joining methods was significantly reduced, lowering overall complexity. Design features integrated early in development are also evident in the details of the Neue Klasse, such as the invisible door seal. This creates a visual connection between the window and the door, resulting in a unique look. In addition, maximising the space available for the battery in the body structure – and thus the size and performance of the battery – directly benefits the customer.

At BMW Group Plant Debrecen, the paint shop plays a critical role in significantly reducing the CO2e footprint of the BMW iX3. Production of the new BMW iX3 will generate a total of about 80kg CO₂e (scope 1/2 emissions). This figure covers CO₂e emissions from Plant Debrecen, as well as in-house parts production at other BMW Group facilities, including components manufactured in Landshut, for example. This represents a reduction of approx. two-thirds compared to production of existing BMW derivatives. For Plant Debrecen alone, this approach will reduce CO₂e emissions from the manufacture of a vehicle, including its high-voltage battery, by around 90% – to about 34 kg CO₂e (when operating at full capacity, compared with other BMW Group facilities).

Paint shops typically rely on gas to reach the high temperatures (up to 180 degrees Celsius) required. Plant Debrecen will be the BMW Group’s first car plant supplied exclusively with electricity from renewable energy sources during normal operation, i.e. without using fossil fuels such as oil or gas. Because of its high energy demands, the paint shop is the most important factor in significantly lowering Plant Debrecen’s CO2e emissions. In the paint shop alone, using electricity from renewable sources reduces annual CO2e emissions by up to 12,000 tonnes. About a quarter of the plant’s annual power needs will be supplied by the 50‑hectare on-site photovoltaic system. Surplus solar energy, such as that generated on non‑working days, is stored in a 1,800 m³ thermal storage system with a capacity of 130 MWh.

The paint shop also uses an energy recovery system. A heat grid was successfully implemented in the design of the new paint shop, delivering additional energy savings of up to 10%. This innovative concept combines multiple measures for efficient energy recovery from the compressed air supply, drying ovens and cooling systems. The recovered waste heat is then used to preheat the water circuit.

In addition, a thermal storage system – holding 1,800 m³ of water, with a capacity of 130 MWh – stores surplus energy from the photovoltaic system during off-peak periods and supplies it as heat during peak demand.

Full digitalisation of production processes further boosts assembly efficiency. The AIQX (Artificial Intelligence Quality Next) IT platform developed in-house at the BMW Group is a key component of the BMW iFACTORY. AIQX uses sensors and camera systems along the production line to automate quality processes. AI evaluates the data and provides real-time feedback to employees on the line. Looking ahead, vehicles on the line will also become active, connected participants in the industrial IoT (Internet of Things) ecosystem. They will conduct self-analysis, interact with plant employees in real time and automatically share and document relevant messages, using tools such as on-board cameras and IT systems. The equipment, tools, components and every BMW in the assembly halls are already digitally connected to the BMW production system.

The building’s “finger structure” – an optimised version of the design employed at BMW Group Plant Leipzig – allows 80% of parts to be delivered directly to the correct point of assembly on the line. All-electric in-house logistics also benefit from autonomous tugger trains, which transport high-voltage batteries directly from production to installation points, as well as Smart Transport Robots that autonomously deliver smaller components to the assembly line. By linking all internal and external databases, the entire logistics process achieves unprecedented digital depth, automating many previously manual, interconnected analysis tasks. Well-structured information is therefore available at any time and can be analysed instantly “at the push of a button”.

The BMW Group has created highly intelligent production processes for its new high-voltage batteries developed in-house. Plant Debrecen will be the first of five plants worldwide to begin series production of Gen6 high-voltage batteries. The production processes were initially developed and tested at pilot plants. Artificial intelligence, data analytics and constant knowledge sharing within the production network also play a key role in the ramp-up of production. Digital twins of production and comprehensive AI databases ensure optimisation of processes and employee training. A consistent zero-defect approach enables seamless in-line quality inspections and 100% end‑of-line monitoring. In line keeping with the “local for local” principle, high‑voltage battery assembly takes place directly on site, allowing the production teams to take advantage of infrastructure efficiencies and short distances.

Dacia launches a Cargo variant of its iconic Duster, bringing go-anywhere versatility to the LCV market

Based on the Duster SUV, the new Duster Cargo is a full factory conversion with the benefit of Dacia’s warranty

Conversion replaces the rear seats with a flat load floor, mesh bulkhead, lashing points, load cover and opaque rear windows

A highly practical load area offers up to 1,149 litres of useful space and up to 430kg payload

Available as a mild hybrid 130 4×4, offering genuine all-terrain ability with 217mm of ground clearance or the recently launched hybrid 155, delivering outstanding efficiency

Orders are now open, with prices starting from £22,995 excluding VAT

The new Dacia Duster Cargo brings the award-winning SUV’s exceptional value-for-money and go-anywhere capability to the light commercial vehicle market, offering hard-working businesses all the practicality and versatility they need to get the job done, regardless of where the work is.

Duster Cargo features the same rugged looks as the passenger version but builds on its robust and resilient nature by adding a tough, hard-wearing flat load area offering 1,149 litres of space and a payload of up to 430kg.

Homologated as an N1 commercial, the conversion takes place at the factory, guaranteeing the quality of the installation and preserving the three-year, 60,000-mile warranty. Subject to terms and conditions, customers can also benefit from Dacia Zen, which gives an additional 1-year of warranty by servicing your vehicle at Dacia, up to 7-years or 75,000 miles.

Dacia’s technicians replace the rear seats with a completely flat wooden load floor, finished with a durable material surface. The load area is separated from the front passenger compartment by a sturdy mesh bulkhead, while four lashing points further help to secure loose cargo.

A full-length removable load cover shields the cargo area’s contents from prying eyes, aided by the opaque film applied to the fixed rear windows. Finally, rubber mats add an extra layer of protection.

The Duster Cargo is available with a choice of two modern electrified petrol engines. These include an advanced hybrid powertrain with exceptional efficiency, and a mild hybrid coupled with 4×4 transmission to offer genuine all-terrain abilities, even with a full load on board.

Introduced to Duster only last week, the hybrid 155 combines a 109 bhp 4-cylinder petrol engine, two electric motors (a 50 hp motor and a high-voltage starter / generator), a 1.4 kWh battery (230V) and an automatic electric gearbox. It has four gears for the ICE engine and two for the electric motors. This combined technology is made possible by the absence of a clutch.

The regenerative braking function works alongside the battery, with its high energy recovery capacity, and the efficient automatic gearbox, allowing Duster to remain in all-electric mode for significant periods of time in the city. What’s more, efficiency is heightened through the car always starting in all-electric mode.

The mild hybrid 130 combines a 1.2 litre three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with a 48V motor which aids the combustion engine when starting off or accelerating, helping to reduce fuel consumption and emissions by about 10%.

In Duster Cargo, this powertrain is coupled with 4×4 transmission as well as Dacia’s new 4×4 Terrain Control that offers a choice of five modes to match the prevailing conditions. In addition, Adaptive Hill Descent Control automatically regulates the Duster’s speed during steep descents, while 217mm of ground clearance ensures Duster Cargo can always get to the job at hand, no matter how remote it is.

Dacia has long believed in keeping things simple, and Duster Cargo is no different. Offered in one, generously equipped Expression trim, this go-anywhere LCV includes everything you need and nothing you don’t.

In fact, the list of standard equipment is extensive, with 17-inch Tergan diamond-cut alloy wheels, a Y-shaped LED lighting signature, longitudinal roof bars, body-coloured door handles, tinted windows, automatic wipers, and wheel-arch protection and snorkel finished in Starkle®, Dacia’s tough new fully recyclable material that flaunts its unpainted finish with a mottled look that comes from its up to 20% recycled composition.

Inside, there are front electric windows with driver’s one-touch operation, an electric parking brake, high central armrest with console storage, height and reach adjustable steering wheel, 6-way adjustable driver’s seat, 4-way adjustable front passenger seat, height-adjustable front seatbelts and headrests, air conditioning, automatic central locking, 7-inch digital driver display, and 10.1-inch Media Display with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto.

As with all models in the Dacia range, Duster Cargo benefits from a comprehensive array of safety and driver assistance systems, including six airbags, cruise control with speed limiter, traffic sign recognition with speed alert and Intelligent Speed Assist, rear parking sensors, rear view camera, driver attention warning, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, advanced emergency braking system, emergency E-Call, vehicle dynamic control, and hill start assist.

Three exterior colours are available, starting with Glacier White, the perfect blank canvas for your own livery, followed by two metallic options – Pearl Black and Shadow Grey.

The new Duster Cargo is available to order now, priced from £22,995 ex. VAT for the mild hybrid 130 4×4 and £23,595 ex. VAT for the hybrid 155. First customer delivers are expected before the end of the year.

The UK’s most loved Mexican restaurant, Tortilla, is turning up the flavour to celebrate one of the most iconic days in the foodie calendar – National Guacamole Day.

On Tuesday 16th September, customers across the UK can enjoy FREE guac toppings with any main meal purchased in-store, no strings attached.

Burritos, bowls, tacos and salads are getting a free creamy, zesty upgrade, as Tortilla shines a spotlight on one of its most beloved, most talked-about ingredients: guacamole, made fresh from scratch every single day in every store.

This isn’t just any guac, it’s Tortilla’s signature smashed guacamole, made using only five premium ingredients: perfectly ripe Hass avocados, diced red and white onion, fresh chopped coriander, zesty lime juice, and salt. That’s it. No preservatives, no hidden extras just vibrant, bold flavour in every scoop.

With avocados imported directly from Mexico and smashed to order in-store twice a day, freshness and quality are guaranteed. The result? A creamy, tangy, velvety guac that customers can’t get enough of.

To celebrate National Guacamole Day, this topping, normally an optional extra costing £1.50, will be completely free with any main on Tuesday 16th September, for one day only. No app, no sign-up, no coupon, just walk in, order, and enjoy.

For those looking to get even closer to the action, Tortilla is also hosting a special pop-up Guac Bar at its Leadenhall restaurant in London.

Watch as Bruno Pires, Tortilla’s Head of Food Development, creates the famous guacamole live, talking customers through every step of the process from selecting the perfect avocados to achieving that ideal balance of citrus, creaminess and crunch.

Bruno will also be on hand to share expert tips, answer questions, and let fans in on a few trade secrets – including how to recreate Tortilla’s famous guac at home. It’s an immersive, interactive guac experience that brings the magic of the kitchen right into the dining room.

Tortilla Food Director, James Garland, said: “Guacamole is more than just a topping, it’s part of what defines us. We make it fresh, by hand, in every store, daily because our customers deserve real ingredients and that authentic flavour. National Guacamole Day is the perfect chance to share that passion and say thank you to the fans who love our guac as much as we do.”

He added: “We’re a food-first brand, and this celebration is about the care and craft that goes into every meal. Whether you’re a die-hard burrito fan or just popping in for a quick taco lunch, it’s a chance to enjoy something special – on us.”

Getting your guac fix is easy:
