The rollout of the Farizon SV – the new benchmark electric van for the UK market – continues to accelerate with the opening of its flagship retail site in north London. Operating from a temporary sales office for the short term until the refurbishment of the site has been completed, the Farizon sales team welcomed its first prospective customers on 15 July.

The flagship dealership – on the busy A406 North Circular near the Hangar Lane Gyratory in Park Royal – showcases the brand’s corporate identity that will be implemented at its growing network of retail partner sites across the UK in the coming months. Two franchised dealers have been appointed in the UK – Heathrow Van Centre in west London, and SMV Commercials Yeovil in the south-west of England. All three dealer locations are offering interested businesses a free, no-obligation 48-hour Farizon test drive for them to experience the SV for themselves

The overhaul, repurposing and refurbishment of the Park Royal showroom is slated to take around four months, with a target formal inauguration planned for early November 2025. The 3,340 m2 site will be home to retail, aftersales and parts operations. The site will have a selection of demonstrators, following the successful registration of an initial fleet of 30 Farizon SV vans last month. More will be added in the coming months to showcase the diverse range of variants available.

Scott Fogharty, Head of Business at Jameel Motors UK, commented: “Our team has been working hard to get this site open as quickly as possible, so we have a base from which to offer test drives and to finalise sales with a rapidly growing list of prospective customers. The reaction to our launch activities over the last few months has been hugely positive, and we’re looking forward to working with customers to quickly get them on the road with their new SV electric vans.”

The Farizon SV
The all-new born-electric Farizon SV features a host of advanced innovations, including drive-by-wire technology, a unique b-pillarless design and cell-to-pack battery packaging, which combine to deliver market-leading cargo capacity, payload, range and an ultra-low loading height.

A single highly-specified trim level includes several premium features as standard, including a unique payload monitoring system, heated seats, heated multifunction steering wheel, heated windscreen, 360-degree surround view, and a comprehensive suite of ADAS safety systems. The SV has also earned the highest five-star safety rating from Euro NCAP.

The model line-up includes the option of 67 kWh, 83 kWh or 106 kWh batteries, with one efficient, all-electric powertrain available, which produces 170 kW (231 PS) of power and 336 Nm of torque. The SV delivers a WLTP range of up to 342 miles (city), and up to 247 miles (combined), while a 20 to 80 per cent top-up charge can be completed in as little as 36 minutes.

London, 17June 2025: The born-electric Farizon SV large van has impressed more than 100 of the UK’s leading fleet professionals on the gruelling tracks of UTAC Millbrook in Bedfordshire, as the brand continues to disrupt the light commercial vehicle sector.

Featuring alongside other OEMs as part of Company Car in Action, Farizon offered fleet buyers the chance to test drive L1 H1 and L2 H2 variants of the SV over two days. Having had the chance to experience the SV for the first time, Nick Falconer, Delivery Manager – Transport Services at Avon and Somerset Police, said: “My first impressions of driving the Farizon SV are great. It’s got a nice spacious cabin, great visibility, is comfortable and has a nice clean design inside. A lot of drivers just want to move from a conventional vehicle to something a bit different, and the Farizon enables this.”

These feelings were echoed by Muiris O’Connell, Chief Financial Officer at Sovereign Partners, who said: “I’m interested in electrifying my fleet and the SV was much better than I expected – I came away pleasantly surprised.” Martyn Escritt, General Manager at Essex Motor Factors, added: “The SV drove like a good family SUV, and it looks to have plenty of pallet space.”

An L1 H1 took centre stage in this year’s ‘Vans in Action’ area, which showcased the leading LCVs on the market, while a flagship L3 H3 derivative was also on display at the event, serving as a barista bar throughout the two days of the show. The Farizon SV’s vehicle-to-load (V2L) technology – fitted as standard across the range – powered the coffee machine, grinder and even a full-size refrigerator, thanks to three 240v / 3.3kW three-pin domestic sockets in the load area.

Further positioning Farizon as a rising star in the sector, Kate McLaren, Head of Marketing and Sales Operations at Jameel Motors Farizon Auto UK, took part in a panel discussion alongside other fleet professionals. During this, McLaren announced plans for the flagship Farizon sales and aftersales dealership in London – opening later this year – and emphasised the company’s commitment to instilling confidence in fleet and retail buyers through its partnerships with The AA and DHL.

“Being a start-up, we’re able to think about the whole vehicle in its first-, second- and third- use; the fleet buyer and the retail customer too. We’re building out our dealer network, we’re working in partnership with dealers, fleets and leasing companies. The big thing for us and our dealer network, ultimately, is training, and having that deep understanding of electrification and commercial vehicles.”

Now available to order, Farizon SV prices start at £40,000 (plus VAT, VED, first registration fee and delivery/on the road costs), with the Government’s £5,000 Plug-in Van Grant (PiVG) included.

As standard, the SV features a host of advanced innovations, including a unique b-pillarless design, cell-to-pack battery packaging, and a payload monitoring system. Every SV driver will benefit from numerous comfort and convenience features, such as 360-degree surround view, radar-guided cruise control and heated- and ventilated-seats, not to mention a heated multifunction steering wheel, heated windscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and a comprehensive suite of ADAS safety systems.

The SV boasts exceptional load-carrying capabilities, with up to 13 m3 of capacity and a payload of up to 1,350 kg. With three battery choices (67kWh, 82kWh or 106kWh) across the range of five body configurations (L1 H1 to L3 H3), the SV can travel up to 247 miles on a single charge (WLTP combined).

London, 29 April 2025: As it officially launches its debut SV large van at the Commercial Vehicle Show, Farizon is showcasing a series of partnerships with industry-leading specialists in van conversions, panelling, security and charging kit. The partnerships signal the new brand’s commitment to ensuring the Farizon SV can be customised with approved conversions and enhancements, ready for work across a variety of use cases.

Taking pride of place on Farizon’s stand is an SV converted by Paneltex, a global leader in temperature-controlled vehicle body building and conversions. The refrigerated Farizon SV can maintain temperatures of 0°C thanks to a GAH refrigeration unit driven by the SV’s own high voltage electrical architecture. This eliminates the need for supplementary batteries, saving weight and preserving the SV’s market-leading load space. The conversion is both lightweight and highly thermally efficient, while also being the world’s first refrigerated van conversion featuring a sliding door without a B-pillar for ease of access.

Motexion, a specialist in producing premium interior flooring, lining, and bulkheads for commercial vehicles, is showcasing a Farizon SV equipped with its cargo-carrying protection solutions. Visitors to stand 5C20 in Hall 5 will see the SV’s cargo area fitted with bespoke flooring, side and roof linings, and wheel arch covers. The protective panelling enhances practicality, prevents damage, and improves temperature and noise insulation.

Farizon has also announced that Locks 4 Vans will be the company’s recommended security partner. The Kent-based specialist has designed a suite of security products specifically for the Farizon SV, including hook locks, slamlocks, surface-mounted statement locks and a range of shielding solutions.

Wottz, specialists in EV charging products and services, has also been selected to supply extra-long charging cables for SV users who require a secure connection further from their vehicle. Farizon-approved cables up to 7.5m long are available.

Kate McLaren, Head of Marketing and Sales Operations at Jameel Motors UK, said: “The CV Show is a great opportunity for us to showcase that the Farizon SV is ready for work, and can be adapted by approved specialist partners to meet specific use cases. Built for business, and setting a new benchmark in the electric van market, the SV’s advanced tech delivers tangible practical benefits for users, and these conversions further enhance our offering to customers.”

As well as L1 H1 and L2 H2 versions of the SV, Farizon is also showcasing the largest L3 H3 version for the very first time on its stand 5C114 in Hall 5. Farizon’s high-tech stand is designed around visitors and reflects the core values of the company while offering a new, immersive experience.

Innovative solutions; premium features
The all-new born electric Farizon SV features a host of advanced innovations, including drive-by-wire technology, a unique b-pillarless design and cell-to-pack battery packaging, which combine to deliver market-leading cargo capacity, payload, range and an ultra-low loading height.

A single highly-specified trim level includes several premium features as standard, including a payload monitoring system, heated seats, heated multifunction steering wheel, heated windscreen, 360-degree surround view, and a comprehensive suite of ADAS safety systems. The SV has earned the top Platinum safety rating from Euro NCAP.

The model line-up includes the option of a 67 kWh or an 83 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, with a 106 kWh nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) battery available for the L3 H3 model. One efficient, all-electric powertrain is available which produces 170 kW (231 PS) of power and 336 Nm of torque. The SV is rated to tow up to two tonnes with a braked trailer.

Now available to order, with prices starting at £45,000 OTR (plus VAT), the Farizon SV is available in five different size combinations: L1 H1, L1 H2, L2 H2, L2 H3 and L3 H3, with first deliveries expected in Q2 2025.

Established in 2016, Farizon is the commercial vehicle division of Geely, China’s largest private vehicle manufacturer. The Farizon SV is being introduced to the UK by Jameel Motors UK, a London-based automotive distribution business and part of Jameel Motors.

London, United Kingdom; 20 December 2024: The Farizon SV, the electric commercial van from Farizon Auto, received a Platinum safety award from Euro NCAP (European New Car Assessment Program) with a score of 85 points, placing it amongst the best options for safe and reliable commercial vehicles. The award also makes Farizon the top-ranked Chinese electric commercial vehicle brand in the Euro NCAP ratings.

As one of the most rigorous and authoritative car crash testing organizations in the world, Euro NCAP’s results provide crucial reference points for global consumers. Although the upgraded Euro NCAP rating standards present a tough challenge for vehicle manufacturers, they ensure that new vehicles deliver the best safety protection for consumers. Farizon SV comes with the latest safety technologies, which has helped the vehicle perform well in Euro NCAP’s tests and showcases Farizon’s consistency on its user-based brand philosophy.

Since 2021, when Euro NCAP extended its ratings to include commercial vans, the organization has assessed over 95% of the vans and commercial vehicles available in the European market to date. In the AEB active braking function test, one of the key ADAS safety domains, the Farizon SV achieved a single score rate of 95% for conditions such as stationary, low-speed driving and other related driving conditions. At the same time, the recognition and response to pedestrian and bicycle crossing and longitudinal driving conditions are also precise and swift, and the maximum longitudinal speed reaches 80 km/h. In addition, the Farizon SV received perfect scores for both Lane Support Systems (LSS) and Occupant Status Monitoring (OSM), fully demonstrating its active safety performance.

The Farizon SV is being introduced to the UK by Jameel Motors, a leading provider of mobility solutions and partner of choice to top automotive brands seeking a global platform for growth, after it joined forces with Farizon Auto, the commercial vehicle division of Geely Holding Group, to distribute new energy commercial vehicles in the United Kingdom.

“The Farizon SV was designed and engineered to meet or exceed European standards in every regard, including safety, and this result is testament to the rigorous testing and development process undertaken by the Farizon team,” explains Andy Carroll, Country Manager, Jameel Motors Farizon Auto. “Van users and fleets of today and tomorrow can choose the Farizon SV with utmost confidence. Not only is it setting new benchmarks in safety, but several world-first advanced technologies, including its born-electric and drive-by-wire platform, means it offers more cargo space, greater range and a more convenient and comfortable driver experience.”

From its launch in the first half of 2025, three vehicle lengths and three heights will be offered in the UK, along with two battery sizes: 67 kWh and 83 kWh. A 106-kWh battery option will follow. Full UK specification and pricing will be announced in due course, along with a date for start of sales.
